Week #1

Since my parents live 3 hours away and they can't see their house everyday, I (their daughter, Cami) have decided to put together this blog for them so they can keep up with what is going on with their house. Also, I have had a few other people have told me about putting a blog together so that any friends/family can see the construction of their house. I hope you enjoy it as much as I'm going to enjoy putting it together.

This is what has happened with my parents house so far this week. They put in the sewer line, dug it all out, put the footings in, and put up the walls for the basement to prepare them for pouring the cement next week (if there aren't any complications with the weather. So far it is coming along nicely. We have had some great weather this week so the workers have been able to work on the house everyday. Who knows what next week will bring. I will try to update this blog periodically, or whenever there is something new to report.

The beginning!!

Here is the very first picture that I took of my parents lot.
Their house will be located just 8 doors down from us. How exciting!!

Let the digging begin!!

They have finally begun digging on my parents house. There is no turning back now.
